ioimage acquires technology assets of Unisor

Intelligent Video Appliances Provider ioimage has acquired the technological assets of Unisor, a software and hardware design and manufacturing house for commercial and military markets. With the acquisition, ioimage extends its technological capabilities, broadens its offering, and reinforces its position in the video analytics market.

Experts in embedded design and product development, Unisor brings to ioimage a wealth of experience in the development of video transmission, data link communications, and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) solutions. The acquisition also equips ioimage with the patent pending lvm platform, a low-latency video encoder for high-end, video-based applications.

Unisor Design Services, led by Moshe Lerner, was founded in May 2003 as a joint venture between Unisor Multisystems, a leading R&D outsourcing company founded in 1994, and Data JCE, a leading components distributor and ASIC design center in Israel.
